WW2 Dutch Helmet

A very nice, complete 2nd pattern WW2 Dutch steel helmet with National insignia, liner & chinstrap. These helmets were standard issue to the Dutch army before the German invasion of May 1940. This piece is in great condition and retains most of it's original green paint. During the occupation, many of these helmets had the Insignia removed and were over painted black for use by the Police and other Civil organisations. This helmet design was also manufactured for and issued to the Romanian Army during the war.
